Avocado and Chickpea Toast
Creamy avocado and spicy chickpea mash on toasted whole-grain bread.

- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 2 slices of your favorite whole-grain bread
Mash avocado and chickpeas together.
Season with chili flakes and spread on toasted bread.
Serve with pomegranate on top of it. (optional)
- Feel free to customize the level of spiciness by adjusting the amount of chili flakes.
- While we've added pomegranate for a sweet-tart twist, you can experiment with other toppings like sliced tomatoes, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, or even a sprinkle of nutritional yeast.
